Account and Billing
Manage your MixItOne account settings, upgrade to Pro, and handle your subscription from the account settings page.
Accessing Account Settings
To access your account settings:
- Click on your user menu in the top navigation
- Select "Settings"
- Navigate to the "Account" section
- Click on "Billing" to view your plan and manage your subscription
Understanding Plans
MixItOne offers two plans:
Free Plan
- Free forever
- Game scheduling
- Player and group management
- Works online and offline
Pro Plan
- Everything in the free plan
- Club documents and membership management
- Tournaments
Upgrading to Pro
To upgrade your account to Pro:
- Navigate to Settings → Account → Billing
- Review the Pro plan features and pricing
- Click the "Upgrade now" button
- You'll be redirected to Stripe's secure checkout page
- Enter your payment information
- Your account will be upgraded immediately after payment
New Pro subscriptions include a 14-day free trial. You won't be charged until the trial period ends.
Managing Your Subscription
If you're already on a Pro plan, you can manage your subscription:
- Navigate to Settings → Account → Billing
- Click the "Manage subscription" button
- You'll be redirected to Stripe's customer portal where you can:
- Update your payment method
- View billing history
- Download invoices
- Cancel your subscription
- Update billing information
Downgrading to Free
You can downgrade from Pro to Free at any time:
- Click "Manage subscription" in your billing settings
- In the Stripe customer portal, cancel your subscription
- Your account will remain on Pro until the end of your current billing period
- After the period ends, your account will automatically switch to Free plan
- You'll retain access to all Pro features until the subscription expires
When you downgrade to Free, you'll lose access to Pro features like tournaments. Make sure to export any important data before downgrading.
Billing and Invoices
- Invoices are automatically generated for Pro plan subscriptions
- You can view and download invoices from the Stripe customer portal
- Invoices are sent to the email address associated with your account
- Billing occurs monthly or annually depending on your subscription
Troubleshooting
Payment Issues
If you experience payment issues:
- Check that your payment method is valid and has sufficient funds
- Verify your billing information in the Stripe customer portal
- Contact support if problems persist
Subscription Not Activating
If your subscription doesn't activate after payment:
- Wait a few minutes for the system to process
- Refresh the page
- Check that you're logged in as an account administrator
- Only account administrators can upgrade accounts
Accessing Pro Features
If you've upgraded but can't access Pro features:
- Make sure you're logged in as an account administrator
- Refresh your browser
- Log out and log back in
- Contact support if the issue persists
Desktop App
If you're using the MixItOne desktop app and your Pro features don't activate after upgrading:
- Navigate to Settings → Devices
- Click the "Sync" button to synchronize your account data
- Wait for the sync to complete
- If features still don't appear, restart the MixItOne app
- Your Pro features should now be available
The desktop app stores account data locally. After upgrading, you need to sync to download your updated account information including Pro plan status.
