Player information
Each player in your club has the following information:
- Name: The player's name (required)
- Email: Contact email address
- Phone: Contact phone number
- Group: The player's skill level group (see Groups)
- Active status: Whether the player is currently active in the club
- Member type: Whether the player is a "Member" or "Casual" player (Pro feature)
Member types
Players can be classified as either casual or members. Free accounts can only have casual players. To use member players, you need a Pro account with the member players feature enabled.
If you have a Pro account with the member players feature enabled, you can classify players as either:
- Casual: Players who participate occasionally
- Member: Full members of your club
Members may have additional requirements such as:
- Required email or phone number
- Required acceptance of club documents (waivers, policies, etc.)
You can configure these requirements in your club settings under Settings > Player settings.
Player groups
Players are organized into groups, which help manage skill levels and ensure fair game assignments. The default groups are Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced, but you can create custom groups.
Groups are used by the auto-fill feature to assign players to courts during sessions. See the Groups and rules guide for more information.
Player notes
You can add notes to players to keep track of important information, preferences, or special instructions. Notes are visible to club administrators and can be added from the player's detail view.
Active and inactive players
Players can be marked as active or inactive:
- Active players appear in player lists and can be registered for sessions
- Inactive players are hidden from most views but remain in your club's history
You can toggle a player's active status from the player edit form or bulk edit multiple players at once.
Managing players
Editing a player
- Navigate to the Players tab in your club
- Click on a player's name or use the edit button
- Update any information
- Click Save
